About Our School Age Program

Learning Explorers Childcare is now offering a School Age Program! This program will be available to our current and previous families. Our School Age Program will serve ages Kindergarten to 9 years of age.
Care will be available before and after school as well as non-school days (excluding holidays), including winter and spring breaks. We provide a safe, nurturing environment where school-age children can continue learning and growing outside of school hours.
Our program offers flexible scheduling options to meet the diverse needs of working families, with AM programs, PM programs, and full-day care available on non-school days.

AM Program
Available from 6:00 AM until buses pick up children
Breakfast included

PM Program
Available when buses drop children off until close

AM & PM Program
Includes both AM & PM programs

Complete before and after school care

Non-School Day

Available on all non-school days (excluding holidays)
6AM to 6PM within a 10-hour timeframe

What Parents Can Expect
Daily Communication: BrightWheel keeps families informed with updates on attendance, activities, and key moments from before- and after-school care, so you're always in the loop.
Personalized Care: We understand school-aged children are growing in independence, so we support each child’s personality, interests, and emotional needs with thoughtful guidance.
Nutritious Meals: Children receive breakfast in the morning program and snacks in the afternoon. On non-school days, we provide all meals—including lunch—while promoting manners and responsibility.
Safe, Clean Environment: Our school-age spaces are designed for comfort, creativity, and active engagement—with designated zones for quiet study, group games, and indoor/outdoor play.
Qualified Staff: Our caregivers are trained in working with elementary-aged children, offering structure, encouragement, and safety—with CPR/first aid certification and a passion for supporting school-age growth.
